Media Celebrate Doris' Birthday
Carmel, Calif. - As springtime begins to bloom at her California home, Doris Day is looking forward to her birthday this Sunday, April 3. Friend and music writer Will Friedwald has written a very nice piece for the Wall St. Journal to commemorate the day, and we wanted to be sure you all could enjoy it. Ms. Day plans to share her birthday with fans over the airwaves, during her annual chat with KIDD-AM disc jockey Ed Dickinson. Dickinson will host a four-hour Doris Day Birthday Retrospective to help the celebration along. Ms. Day's call-in interview is anticipated to air at approximately 10am PDT Sunday April 3. Fans in the Carmel, Calif., are are also invited to attend a special birthday concert on April 3 at the pet-friendly Cypress Inn.
